 Report on 7.62 Tokerav Pistol

This was a interesting weapon to fire for one I am not sure if it due to the model I have or just in general but the magazine wouldn't function with a full mag it seems to like at least three rounds less for no malfunctions to occur.   Firing the firearm was interesting to you had to aim low for your target at 25 feet you had to aim almost below your target (target was 4 x 4 cardboard target).   Once the aiming issue was taken care of it fired great and the 7.62 bullet had quite a impact (fired into a Inland Empire phone book) all the rounds of the 40 rounds nearly went through to the other side of the book.   It was actually quite nice to shoot with the empty cases landing 25 feet away to the rear of me within 3 foot area nice feature if you are a re loader.   I received the weapon via internet with the pistol, holster, extra magazine and a cleaning brush I also purchased 100 rounds of ammunition for this pistol for its drawbacks it is a good shooter with lots of punch and is a bargain so I would recommend this as something to buy and keep in your gun locker at home.

Report on AR-15

What can be said for the AR series that hasn't been before.   This is a wonderful weapon to have at your disposal for home defense, hunting, or a survival weapon just in case.   Its a 1 in 9 twist because I reload only a 55 grain bullet and have tried a 62 grain bullet that works well also.    I prefer the 55 grain bullet because it gives me a true representation of what  is used by current Military forces.   This is the first time I have used a front handle on a AR I enjoy the control as well as having a extra compartment for batteries or other accessories.   The one downside to this type of rifle is keeping it fed it seems to eat ammunition rather fast but it is always fun to see how accurate one can be with it.   One thing I do want to try is a Aim point sighting system with this type of rifle.   When I get one I will give you a full report of it worked but that is in a later report.   A report on bullet testing was done outside of this site but it gives it a comparison.

Report on Remington 870 Express

The Remington 870 is one of my favorite shotguns around the versatility of ammunition available for a shotgun is extensive to say the least the shells I like to use is 7 1/2 shot, 00 Buck and the wonderful 1 ounce slug (the are my favorite).   The 7 1/2 shot is primarily for fun and for just shooting.   The buckshot and slugs I use for target practice and to test what they can do to various things you might have in a house.   I use slugs a lot in my training and to see how items such as cabinets, books, dressers, refrigerators, and such.   It seems like a 1 ounce slug can cut through almost anything but it to has it's limits by doing this training I can expect to know what I can shoot through and can't.   This helps a lot when you are trying to see where your safety areas are in a house and where you can be shot and not know it.    This refers to cover and concealment which I can go into further on one of the forums.   I use phone books for targets and love to see what a slug does to them.   I use this comparison to show others what certain loads are capable of doing to the human flesh Shotgun Loads this is to show how it reacts on flesh in this test was nothing ti simulate clothes, bones or vital organs.

Report on the Para Ordnance P13

The Para Ordnance for me is one of the best .45 calibers I have ever used.   It is a large capacity .45 meaning you have 13 rounds of hard hitting ammunition.   It is fairly accurate for its size and very reliable also it carries well.   I use the Crossbreed  holster now and is a dream to carry all day as well as easy to conceal.   I carry two extra magazines as a backup because I was taught if you carry a weapon carry the bullets also.
